We've been working with professional boxer Martin Murray since shortly after his Prizefighter win in November 2008, and he is now a World Title contender promoted by Ricky Hatton. In this time we have created multiple versions of his website, with his most recent being a completely content managed website using the Wordpress platform. The site contains a lot of custom functionality to speed up management of the content, including various widgets for updating fighters, records and statistics on the site.
Part of the latest design included integration of Martin's branding. We designed the brand around Martin's personality, family and connections with St Helens. This is used on all of the online and printed material, including his team t-shirts, jackets and shorts (and even his mouthguard).
Our in-house content writers have written all of the information on the website, as well as writing and editing all of the blog posts on the site. This often includes a lot of research into the opposition and can be very time-sensitive.
We also played a large part in setting up and running his social media campaigns, which included "live tweets from ringside" during his fights and management of his Twitter profile (which he now manages himself) during high profile fights, including his most recent world title fight against Sergio Martinez.
