SERPs: Search Engine Results Pages
SERPs is a very commonly used word for internet marketers and anyone actively involved in SEO. I realise that this is something we ourselves use a lot, but this might be confusing for anyone that doesn’t know what it means. SERPs is an acronym for Search Engine Results Pages, which are the results shown when you search for a keyword or phrase using a search engine such as Google.
Here are a couple of examples of how SERPs could be used in context:
“I noticed that your website now appears on the first page of the SERPs when I search for the keyphrase SEO.”
“Since your website was penalised it doesn’t appear in the SERPs anymore”.
SERPs can also be referred to as a SERP (Search Engine Results Page).
