#Falkon Friday – Episode 12 – Dave’s Insanity Sauce and Voiceover Recording

#Falkon Friday is back with a vengeance, featuring pro voiceovers, video tech and very hot sauce.

This week we’ve been working with a voiceover artist and some of powerful sound recording equipment to ensure we captured the very best quality voice recordings to use in a video for one of our lovely clients.

Sharp eyed viewers might have spotted our Zoom H6 portable recorder in the opening montage which we made use of to get crystal clear audio on our recordings.

Always keen to expand their culinary horizons, and intrigued by talk of the now infamous “Dave’s Insanity sauce challenge”, the opportunity to see just how spicy a small bottle of chilli sauce can be was too good to be passed up so Directors Luke and Steve agreed to give it a try on camera.

The message from the side of the bottle;

Great cooking ingredient for sauces, soups, and stews. Also strips waxed floors and removes driveway grease stains.

Warning; Use this product one drop at a time. Keep away from eyes, pets and children. Not for people with heart or respiratory problems.

Steve was up first and sensibly filled an overlarge spoon with cottage cheese before adding a (slightly too generous) drop of the infamous condiment. His face was a picture, but he went back for more – Score 1 to the Falkon team!

Not to be outdone, Luke was next, despite not being a fan of spicy food he wasn’t cowed and gamely tried enough of the sauce to liven up an entire pot of chilli.

Despite a pair of red faces and slightly damp foreheads, our plucky Directors sailed through their encounter with Dave without ill effect.

For those of you who’ve yet to try out Dave’s for yourself, learn from Chris’s prior fails and make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after use!
