Chip Shop Awards 2012

Chip Shop Awards 2012

By Sadie on June 15, 2012

This week we attended the Chip Shop Awards in London, these are not your conventional awards and celebrate creativity without boundaries.

The Chip Shop Awards have been running for a decade and are a chance to show case your most creative work, you know, the kind of work that clients would never have associated with their brand. The category names are as funny as the entries with awards for best use of plagiarism, best reject, best use of shocking copy, best work for a brand you haven’t a hope of winning and many many more equally amusing categories.

The awards are not your usual kind of sit down do, but have a BBQ van serving chips and burgers on arrivals, and was hosted in Ministry of Sound with comedy from Keith Farnan.

There were loads of fantastic entries but as a family company we can’t really show some of our favourites, especially from the bad taste category but here are a few 12a rated favourites of ours from the night.
